Here’s a bit from my work that appeared in Digital Artist #30 this spring. I wrote a tutorial for their Creative 101 Q&A column titled “Third Eye Bind”. In the article, I talk about steps an artist can take to achieve a 1950’s comic “look” with Corel Painter and Photoshop.
Check out your back issue collection. It starts on page 87. I had a lot of fun with it, and I think I had some helpful tips to share. I just seem to have a naturally “over-the-top” style for almost everything I do, which seems to blend smoothly into “Pulp”. Ahem. Accidental pun. 🙂
It’s such a beautiful day here in my little Appalachian backwater. The temperature has finally cooled down to the point where one can walk across the room without breaking a sweat, so I’m going to try to get caught up on things I’ve been neglecting. Hopefully, these temps will hang on for a while.
Hope you like the art!
So awesome.
Thank you SO much! 🙂
